PARIS, FRANCE - (June 29, 2007) - Yokohama tires will be the exclusive tire supplier for the FIA World Touring Car Championship in 2008 and 2009. The announcement was made June 29 by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) World Motor Sports Council in Paris.

"The World Touring Car Championship is the pinnacle of sedan racing," said Robert Dole, manager of Product Promotion for Yokohama Tire Corporation. "By showing off Yokohama tires in this venue, we can further prove the value of our research and development."

Yokohama tires are already the official tire of the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC).
