FULLERTON, Calif. (Aug. 13, 2007) - Consumers across the country will soon be seeing new ads promoting Yokohama Tire Corporation. Some ads highlight ADVAN®, Yokohama's ultra-high-performance line, while others tout the company's strong environmental stance. The ads appear in print and on regional cable TV this quarter, according to Fred Koplin, director, marketing communications.

"These bold, new ads are directed at specific audiences," said Koplin. "The ADVAN ads are aimed at luxury consumers. They'll appear in a select list of national publications, such as Forbes, Golf Digest and National Geographic Traveler that reach a very affluent audience, and in eight regional luxury lifestyle publications.

Koplin said the company's corporate ads focus on two points: Yokohama's record of innovation and dedication to environmental responsibility. A new corporate television spot employs a unique style in developing high-performance products. The spots are slated for popular national cable networks such as ESPN, Discovery, Fox Sports, TBS, TNT and the History Channel. New print ads, targeted to enthusiasts, run in publications such as Road and Track, AutoWeek, Car and Driver, Roundel, Porsche Panorama, and Grassroots Motorsports."
