FULLERTON, Calif. (Mar. 12, 2008) - Yokohama Tire Corporation today announced that it will be the official tire for two renowned U.S. racetracks - Sebring International Raceway and Road Atlanta. The three-year agreements are designed to reinforce Yokohama's overall commitment to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), where Yokohama currently supports Mazda's BK Motorsports P2 team and the Panoz Esperante of Team PTG in GT2.

As part of the partnership, Yokohama signage will be placed in key areas of both tracks, including the crossover bridges and other camera-view areas. Additionally, Yokohama will incorporate dealer tie-ins in each local market prior to major events as well as entertain key VIP guests through hospitality programs.

Coupled with their existing relationship with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif., Yokohama now is the official tire at the three largest annual ALMS events. The season kicks off with the world famous 56th 12 Hours of Sebring on Mar. 15, includes the 11th Petit Le Mans (10 Hours) on Oct. 4 at Road Atlanta and concludes with the Monterey Sports Car Challenge (4 Hours) on Oct. 18 at Mazda Raceway. In total, 26 hours of ALMS racing will be held at these three events.

"Motorsports is an integral part of our marketing strategy," said Robert Dole, Yokohama motorsports manager. "Our partnerships with Sebring, the oldest permanent road racing track in North America, and Road Atlanta present us with several new opportunities to showcase Yokohama, our ultra-high-performance ADVAN(R) tire line and to build our relationship with the ALMS at their largest events. Our presence at both tracks will benefit our dealers, race fans and our ADVAN Yokohama engineering development team."

"We welcome Yokohama as one of our key marketing partners," stated Tres Stephenson, Sebring president and general manager. "Our family of sponsors has found Sebring an ideal venue to achieve their motorsports marketing goals, and we look forward to working with Yokohama."

"We are delighted to welcome Yokohama to our family of sponsors," said Geoff Lee, Road Atlanta president. "With the wide variety of events that we host annually, Road Atlanta is a terrific location for Yokohama to showcase the ADVAN tire line. We look forward to partnering with Yokohama in retail promotions in the Atlanta area that will be a tremendous boost to their local distributors and in promotion of the Petit Le Mans featuring the American Le Mans Series."

Yokohama is also currently the official tire at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, which hosts NASCAR Sprint Cup in June and the Indy Racing League in August.
