Yokohama Tire Corporation Kicks Off Dealer Training Program

10-city tour will feature all-new ADVAN Neova^® AD08 ultra-high-performance tire

FULLERTON, CA (Apr. 8, 2009) - Dealers across the U.S. will get a chance to test many of Yokohama Tire Corporation's tires - including the all-new ADVAN Neova^® AD08 - in a series of 10 specialized training programs beginning this month.

According to Shawn Denlein, Yokohama director of sales, Consumer Products, "the training offers tire dealers an opportunity to learn about our products and test them on various slalom-type driving courses. This is especially important with the rollout of the all-new Neova AD08. We want dealers to see firsthand what the tire can do so they can translate this knowledge to the consumer."

Cities on the 10-city training tour include Los Angeles, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Antonio, Texas; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Detroit, Michigan; Kansas City, Kansas; Memphis, Tennessee; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The ADVAN Neova AD08, an updated version of Yokohama's ADVAN Neova AD07, nicknamed "the fastest street tire," will be available in the U.S. in May in 32 sizes, ranging from 15 to 19 inches. For more information on Yokohama's ADVAN Neova AD08, go to:
