The Australian Expedition with Dan Grec

Previously an Engineer, Dan went in search of a more vibrant and exciting life. For his first major expedition Dan drove 40,000 miles from the top of Alaska to the southern tip of Argentina. That journey spanned two years through seventeen countries in North, Central and South America, and Dan became hooked on the Overland adventure life.

For his second major expedition Dan built his ultimate Jeep house-on-wheels and spent three years driving around the entire continent of Africa. His expedition took him to thirty-five separate African countries, and the adventure was a thousand times bigger than he ever imagined possible anywhere on planet Earth.

Now, Dan is setting out to explore the wild and remote corners of his homeland, Australia.

After fifteen years out exploring so much of the world Dan feels a strong pull to re-discover his homeland, seeing it through the eyes of a first-time visitor.

In partnership with Yokohama Dan will build a Jeep Gladiator into his new house-on-wheels and spend twelve months exploring far and wide across the immense Australian continent. With everything from tropical rainforests to deserts, snow-capped mountains to ancient rock formations, Australia is extremely diverse - and Dan plans to visit it all.
