Yokohama Tire-Sponsored Driver Laura Hayes Featured in New Apple Immersive Film on Apple Vision Pro
Yokohama Tire driver Laura Hayes is the subject of a new film from Apple TV+ currently streaming on Apple Vision Pro. Titled Adventure: Hill Climb, the Apple immersive film revolves around Hayes attempting to break her own record she set during the 2024 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on Yokohama’s ADVAN A052® tires.
Hayes, who won the Pikes Peak GT4 Trophy by Yokohama division in a Toyota GR Supra GT4, became the fastest female up the mountain in a car with a record-breaking time of 10:20.487. Yokohama is the exclusive tire supplier of the Pikes Peak GT4 Trophy by Yokohama division.
In "Hill Climb,” Hayes takes on Pikes Peak again (this time on ADVAN® A005 slick tires), trying for a sub-10-minute time.
“I’m proud to have had Yokohama by my side in my past couple of Pikes Peak attempts,” Hayes said. “We won the GT4 division last June on the ADVAN A052s. You’re only as fast as the tires beneath you so when we were challenged to push the 10-minute barrier, we knew exactly what tire to use. The A005s delivered out of the gate to the finish line, making the best of a day where road conditions were particularly challenging!”
