Team Yokohama is Ready to ‘Go Strong’

Yokohama's “Go Strong” mantra now has several new, vibrant voices. The tire maker has assembled “Team Yokohama,” an all-star line-up of drivers, lifestyle athletes and influencers to be brand ambassadors and expand Yokohama’s connection to new audiences.

“Yokohama’s new brand ambassadors encompass a wide range of lifestyle sports and activities, including skateboarding, surfing and freerunning, along with off-road racers and major action stars such as Travis Pastrana,” said Andrew Briggs, Yokohama Tire vice president of marketing. “This group represents some of the best in each sport and they all display a passion for adventure in everything they do.”

Introducing the first Team Yokohama brand ambassadors:

Our ambassadors have all earned their place through dedication, toughness, ability and total performance,” said Briggs. “It’s attributes like these that provide a direct link to the Yokohama brand and our tires. It’s also why they connect with their fans on so many levels. Those connections will continue to inspire fans everywhere.”

Yokohama has already worked with many of the athletes through existing partnerships like Nitro Circus and U.S. Spartan Race. Yokohama is the exclusive tire of the Nitro Circus Live Tour in the United States, as well as an official sponsor of the Nitro World Games.
