FULLERTON, CA (March 24, 2014) – Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) has announced the promotion of Dan Funkhouser to director of commercial dealer business responsible for all commercial dealer and associated national account business.
“Dan Funkhouser has more than 25 years of experience in the tire business,” said Rick Phillips, YTC senior director, commercial and OTR sales. “He has earned the strong respect of the industry, our commercial customers and his colleagues here at Yokohama. His role is instrumental in our ongoing journey to assure the commercial division is positioned for strategic growth and continued success in the future.”
Funkhouser most recently held the position of commercial zone manager. He joined YTC in 1994 as a district sales representative in Minnesota. He was then promoted to national account manager in 1998 and then corporate manager of national accounts in 2008. Funkhouser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Central Michigan University.
