Yokohama Tire’s Versatile All-terrain GEOLANDAR A/T4™ is Now Available in 100 Sizes
Yokohama Tire announced a major size expansion of its versatile all-terrain tire, the GEOLANDAR A/T4™ G018. The tire, engineered for light trucks, SUVs and CUVs, is now available in 100 sizes, including 33 newly added Euro-metric and P-metric sizes to go along with the 67 LT-metric sizes. The “go anywhere” A/T4 is offered in sizes ranging from 15- to 22-inch wheel diameters.
More A/T4 sizes are expected to be rolled out in the near future, according to Kevin Nguyen, Yokohama Tire manager of product planning.
“The multipurpose A/T4 is designed to take drivers just about anywhere, on- or off-road, and in any weather condition,” said Nguyen. “It offers incredible off-road resilience and is severe snow service-rated. Plus, the A/T4 features a dual-sidewall design which allows consumers to choose the appearance they like the best, and it carries a 55,000- to 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.”
- Off-road durability is assured thanks to Yokohama’s GEO-SHIELD technology, which delivers extra-strength for on- and off-road use by providing multiple sidewall plies, a full nylon cap and a high turn-up carcass. Plus, the A/T4 features Yokohama’s Enduro-Compound, a proprietary triple polymer to combat cutting and chipping, and resist wear for longer mileage.
- Reliable all-weather performance is achieved by the advanced tread pattern which features zig-zag grooves and triple 3D sipes for superb performance in dry and wet conditions. Marked with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol for excellent winter traction.
- On-road comfort comes from the single-pitch shoulder blocks which reduce noise on-road while enhancing traction off-road.
- Optimized on/off-road traction ride is attained by aggressive center blocks that provide exceptional off-road traction on any trail surface. Additionally, the enhanced profile firmly grounds tread blocks for confident on-road handling and improved off-traction.
